Aftercare Advice
Following the aftercare advice we give you is paramount to your healing process and getting the best possible results from your treatment.
Dermal Fillers
• You must drink 2-3 litres of water a day
• Do not touch the treated areas. Do not apply make up or creams for 24 hours after the treatment. keep the skin clean to avid infection.
• Please use a cold compress and take Antihistamines for swelling. use arnica cream / oil to reduce bruising. Paracetamol can be taken to relieve tenderness.
• Redness, swelling, lumps / unevenness is normal post treatment and can take up to 21 days to settle.
• Do not drink alcohol or take N.S.A.I.Ds such as ibuprofen for 48 hours post treatment as these thin blood and can cause more bruising.
• Sun beds are a big no. UV damage prematurely ages the skin and promotes pre mature breakdown of dermal fillers
